Sunday 5th May 2024
eh

We are having a stall at the North Edinburgh Community Festival in West Pilton Park on Sat 11th May. Several of us ran a stall last year and found it was a great opportunity to reach out to the thousands of people, yes thousands, who attend. Would you like to help on the stall this year? It's a real opportunity for you to contribute to the church's mission! Come for an hour, or come all day. Becky will be braiding hair and I will arrange publicity, activities for children, written material, etc. Contact me if you can help at 07950 076528 or eharley@churchofscotland.org.uk. The ideas came flooding out of their heads and onto the cardboard, which they then coloured in and put back on their heads - CROWNS. Great ideas kids, called 'using your head'.

About our Boys' Brigade Company

Saturday 25th February 2023
AF copied from Facebook

on 24th Feb.'23, a post on the Facebook page of the 66th Company Boys' Brigade read as follows: "We have some sad news to share. Unfortunately the Boys' Brigade and Girls Association in Muirhouse will not be meeting on Friday evenings for the foreseeable future. Lieutenant Law, after 18 years of volunteering as a leader will be retiring as a leader. With an insufficient number of volunteer leaders helping out on a Friday night, he was finding it to much work for himself and Mr young to give quality nights to the children, and the stress was getting too much, with only Mr Young now there…
